1 Description

Incooling technology optimises energy usage in an industry that contributes to climate change. Which is good for the planet, and good for the bottom line.

2 Innovation

Incooling based it’s technology inspiration on CERN’s propriety high-pressure two-phase CO2 cooling system used for cooling silicon trackers of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The excess heat at CERN’s machines can also be observed in today’s Data Centres – hence adoption of this system allows us to tackle the same issues. Such system has the following advantages over traditional air-cooled and other liquid cooled solutions:

- Thermal stability. Virtually no difference between the inlet and outlet temperatures of multiple cooling blocks.

- Higher quality waste heat recovery.

- Lower delta-T between cooling fluid and target chip.

Our technology increases computing performance whislt reducing your energy bill by half.

3 Market & Risk

The semiconductor industry – chips and data centers – is due for an update when it comes to their cool factor, or lack of, which depends on ever increasing energy consumption that far outpaces increased processing speed.

- Semiconductor Chips

- Servers in server center

- Super Computing Center

4 Team & Operation

Our big advantage is, we have the technological know-how from CERN along with the backing of HighTechXL, the Netherlands’ only deep-tech accelerator. And HighTechXL itself is back by the Eindhoven Startup Alliance, which gives us access to the smartest engineers in the world.

Incooling is working together with several industry leaders on the way to deploying these systems next year.
