COMPETITION PURPOSE


    This global competition focuses on technological advancement and economic feasibility of the projects. It will also bring together the most advanced scientific and technological achievements in the world. On the basis of fair trade, better protection of intellectual property rights, and better transformation of high-quality scientific and technological achievements on a global scale, this competition will make XiShan District a science and technology industrialization center with global appeal and influence.

    This competition offers a huge prize of USD1mn, attracting the world's first-class science and technology talents and projects to gather together. At the same time, the competition provides a global platform for cooperation between top projects and global investors.

    The CBT100 alliances have joined forces to devote their strong purchasing power and investment power to the most advanced technological achievements on a global scale. And the investments focus on the transformation of technology.

    It is composed of experienced investors from CBT100 companies, top 100 funds and well-known investment institutions.

    i) artificial intelligence and information, ii) life sciences and health, iii) new energy and new materials, as well as iv) cultural creativity, film and electronic sports.



REGISTRATION CONDITIONS 

    a. Individuals, enterprises, institutions and other types of entities can all register for the competition.

    b. The projects shortlisted in the competition should be both technologically advanced and economically feasible.

    c. There is no bad record of the participant. The property rights of the entry projects are owned by the participants, and there is no property dispute over the entry projects.



COMPETITION SCHEDULE

1. Project Collection

Date: Until 2019.11.30
Method: Online. All the projects must submit their registration materials via the official

website. A total of 1,000-1,600 projects are expected to be collected (500- 800 in Chinese Divisions and 500-800 in International Divisions, respectively)

2. Preliminary

Date: 2019.12.1-12.5
Method: Online Scoring System. 400 projects will be selected to enter the rematch phase through the online scoring system (200 in the Chinese Divisions and 200 in the International Divisions, respectively)

3. Rematches

Date: 2019.12-2020.1
Method: Each match zone. According to the area to which the project belongs, each project will participate in the offline rematch to be held in the match zone. After the

rematch, a total of 200 projects will be selected for the finals.

4. Global Final

Date: March 2020
Method: At Shanghai & Xishan. All the shortlisted projects will be evaluated by CBT100 Companies and CBT100 Funds, and a total of 100 awards will be presented.

5. Awards Ceremony

Date: September 2020
Place: Xishan
The award ceremony will be held at the same time as the signing ceremony of implementation of projects. Entry projects enjoy the prioritized opportunity to be implemented in Xishan and/or other partnered districts.
